We’re so proud to see our own Principal Fire Expert on National TV. Richard Meier offers his opinions as a Fire Expert on a national cable TV news show. It was a 2018 tragic case from Arkansas involving the death of a toddler and an arson investigation. Rich toffers his expertise on about standard, scientific fire investigation procedures and what arson investigators look for when approaching fire investigation.

Ricky Lee Carter of Paris, Arkansas is accused of purposely causing a gas explosion at his home. There were three children in the residence at the time of the explosion. One child died.
Investigators on the scene immediately recognized that the explosion was not due to an accident.
Case Update
June, 2019. Ricky Carter pleaded no contest to first-degree murder in the death of a 2-year-old, and arson and was sentenced to 60 years.
